Snowdon Ensemble / Ensemble yr Wyddfa is a Cardiff-based performance community founded in 2026 by conductor Costa Simpson.

We bring together exceptional emerging and professional musicians to perform ambitious music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries—placing neglected repertoire, Welsh music and new commissions at the centre of our work.

Agile in scale and collaborative in spirit, Snowdon creates space for musical discovery by connecting artists, composers and audiences through performances that are immediate, distinctive and alive.
